2016년에 설계된 상하이 코프코 문화 및 건강 센터는 기존 운하를 따라 공공 공간과 공원이 있는 주변 새 주택 블록의 주민들 사이에서 커뮤니티를 육성하는 사회적 콘덴서가 되는 것을 목표로 한다. 인접한 주택 블록은 반복적이지만 여기서 건축은 공간적 에너지와 개방성을 지니고 있어 인근 주민들을 끌어들인다.
풍경과 두 개의 새로운 공공 건물은 "시계와 구름"이라는 개념으로 병합된다. 풍경은 중앙 공공공간을 형성하는 시계 모양의 큰 원으로 구성되어 있으며 건물은 다공성과 개방성이 구름과 같다. 문화 센터는 카페와 게임 및 오락실을 노출시키는 투명한 유리 바닥 위로 떠있다. 2층까지 완만하게 올라가는 곡선형 램프는 계속해서 내려다보는 경험을 선사한다.
Designed in 2016, the Shanghai Cofco Cultural and Health Center aims at being a social condenser, fostering community among the residents of the surrounding new housing blocks with public space and park along an existing canal. While the adjacent housing blocks are repetitive, here the architecture is of spatial energy and openness, inviting the whole community in for recreational and cultural programs.

The landscape and two new public buildings are merged by the concept of “clocks and clouds.” The landscape is organized in large, clocklike circles forming a central public space, and the buildings are cloud-like in their porosity and openness. The Cultural Center hovers over a transparent glass base that exposes a café and game and recreation rooms. A curved ramp, climbing gently up to the second floor, creates a continuous experience of overlooking.
The Health Center is also shaped by the curves of the landscape. Both buildings have green sedum roofs, which merge them further with the landscape when seen from the surrounding apartment buildings.
